New Local Veterinarians !!
Dr. Laura Vague
Dr. Vague has accepted a position at Brownstown Animal Hospital as a mixed animal veterinarian,
specializing in large animals and cattle. Formerly Laura Rotert, Dr. Vague was born and raised in
Freetown, Indiana where she lives with her husband, Dan, dog Grissom and cat Kiki. Dr. Vague
received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Purdue University in May. She earned a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from Kansas State University in 2004. Dr. Vague has worked
as a technician since 1998. She enjoys spending time with her husband , creating scrapbooks, and
working on her family's Angus cow herd. Dr. Vague is excited about her new position as a Staff

Dr. Kelly Robertson
Dr. Robertson has accepted a position at Jackson County Animal Clinic as a mixed animal veterinarian.
Formerly Kelly Sparks, Dr. Robertson is a life long resident of Jackson County and currently lives in
Brownstown with her husband Chad, dogs Kirby and Molly, and cat Chloe.
Dr. Robertson did post graduate work at Purdue University, and received a Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine degree from Western University in Health Sciences in May. She earned a Bachelor's degree
in Biology from Indiana University in 2001. Kelly has worked at the Brownstown Animal Hospital over
seven years as a technician. She enjoys horseback riding, swimming, and spending time with her
husband Chad, and her pets. Dr. Robertson is very excited about her new position as a staff
Veterinarian.
